On behalf of the municipality of Heemstede, Hanson Bedrijfsmakelaars has been appointed in collaboration with Klement Rentmeesters to supervise the structured rental process for Het Oude Slot in Heemstede. With this, we are starting the search for a new destination for this special national monument.
After serving as a catering establishment and party location for many years, Het Oude Slot is ready for a new tenant and/or destination. The municipality attaches great importance to the preservation of this historic location and wants to preserve it for future generations. That is why we invite you to submit initiatives that meet the set conditions and principles, as further explained in this brochure.
A unique opportunity for entrepreneurs and institutions to rent a special monumental building in a beautiful location.
Rental will take place through a structured process in which the municipality has set conditions for, among other things, the type of tenant and the destination that is envisaged for the location. Within the set conditions, anyone who is interested can participate in this procedure. The municipality provides for a commercial use, preferably by one or more organisations with a social objective, in order to keep the building as accessible as possible for residents and visitors from the area. However, this is not an obligation for participation in the procedure.
We would like to hear from you by 19 March at the latest which initiative in terms of development and use you have in mind!
In order to consider awarding the contract to a party, the municipality has drawn up a points system in which each initiative is assessed on a total of 12 components.
The municipality will assess the initiatives on this basis and decide by 14 May at the latest to which candidate the lease will be awarded.
From 27 January up to and including 6 March 2025 at the latest, everyone will be given the opportunity to come and view Het Oude Slot. The public viewing days are organized by Hanson Bedrijfsmakelaars on the following fixed dates and times:
January 27, 2025 - 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
February 6, 2025 - 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
February 11, 2025 - 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM
February 21, 2025 - 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
March 6, 2025 - 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
When participating by means of the registration, the candidate declares to have taken note of and agree with the content and conditions of the following documents that are made available by both brokers during the rental process:
o 1. Participation form with instructions
o 2. Rental agreement Het Oude Slot in Heemstede (with appendices)
o 3. Rental brochure Het Oude Slot in Heemstede
o 4. Measurement certificates and floor plans per building section
o 5 Building history exploration Bouwhuis at Slot Heemstede (version 10-11-2023)
