History
The sugar factory opened in 1863. Beets were processed into sugar here. The silos served as sugar storage. For many years, the factory was owned by the Central Sugar Company, and sugar was made here until its closure in 1992. So the name SugarCity is a nice tribute to this period. Although the area is now being redeveloped into a large-scale outlet center with surrounding facilities, the many historical elements have been well preserved.

Accessibility
