The municipality of Tilburg has been working on the development of the Spoorzone in the heart of the city for some time now. This area runs from the Koepelhal (NS workshop) at the NS Square to the Van Gend en Loosterrein at the Ringbaan-West. The area was almost defining for almost a century and a half and is referred to as 'the Spoorzone'.
ACCESSIBILITY
The Spoorzone itself is easily accessible. In preparation for the redevelopment of the area, the infrastructure has been adapted. The Spoorzone is of course excellently accessible by public transport, especially with the new connection of the station on the north side towards the Spoorzone. Also, where the local and regional buses have their departure and end point on the center side of the station.
