This property is Chapter No. 4.
About this Chapter
A radiant jewel in the crown of The Collection, Herengracht 433 is a stately 18th Century mansion with attendant stables and coach house just around the corner from the Koningsplein in the most prestigious stretch of the canal belt. Built in 1717 to a design by Marseille-born architect Jean Coulon, the property was commissioned by the wealthy merchant Joan d’Orville and has retained several beautiful period rooms from the time of its construction, including its grand foyer and a library overlooking the tree-lined canal and its fascinating traffic.
As befits a building of this quality, Herengracht 433 has accommodated great figures in the history of the city such as Jacob van Pol, mayor of Amsterdam, who lived here at the close of the 18th century. It subsequently housed several banks and a law firm. Accordingly, the extension at the back of the main house offers something of a tasteful twist, boasting generous open plan office layouts and elevators. Light, space and tranquility abound, and the grandeur of the past continues to inform the present in the heart of Amsterdam.
Availability
From May 2024, a total of 550 sq. m LFA of office space is available on the second floor. The office space will be delivered in turn-key state, including a wooden floor and kitchen. Furniture is available upon request.
